I am a servant leader, community advocate, and first-generation college scholar committed to transforming the environments that shaped me. Born and raised as a fourth-generation resident of the Imperial Courts Housing Projects in Watts, California, I channel my lived experiences into meaningful service and sustained impact. At just 14, I co-authored my debut novel, Imperial Guards, and later helped create the Unlock Your Voice podcast at Locke High School—early expressions of my passion for storytelling, empowerment, and youth leadership.
As a senior sociology major at Morehouse College, I have served in several key leadership roles, including Secretary of Campus Operations and Safety for the 91st SGA, Chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee for the 93rd SGA, and now the Senior Adams Intern. My work centers on improving student life, developing policy, and advocating for first-generation students from public housing, foster care, and low-income communities.
My impact extends well beyond campus. I have worked with the Los Angeles Mayor’s Office, the Los Angeles Civil Rights Department, LAPD’s CSP Bureau, GreenSpaces LA, HACLA, Children Mending Hearts, McDonald's, and RedEye Inc. My efforts span community safety, youth employment, and the development of green spaces in underserved neighborhoods. I have also begun and now lead Morehouse College LA Youth Empowerment Tour connecting students to Watts and South Central in Los Angeles.
With a deep commitment to service, equity, and community development, I continue to build programs, partnerships, and policy solutions that uplift marginalized communities—always guided by my belief that where you come from is a foundation, not a limitation.... [more]
