I got to dive into the world of credit. I learned the difference between hard and soft credit and how to access my copy report. I also retained information on compound interest.

Since my friend's mom was busy I helped volunteer to babysit. It was quite interesting watching the kids interact with one another. I analyzed their behavior and reactions to certain situations.

I gathered at someone's house because this group and I sat down to talk about how life is treating us and to give advice to each person. It was basically an open discussion to see where we can improve and what we can do to better ourselves.

It was a very interesting event. I got to learn the different colleges and analyze which ones seemed to be the best fit for me. This event made me more interested in pursuing a higher degree. I am glad I got to attend this experience.

In this event we were able to discuss was a GPA was, Genius, Passion, and Action. When he asked what a GPA was I was certain I knew the answers but I wouldn't have expected that. The guest speaker advised us that in order for our lives not to be boring we had to be active. He showed us this by giving us exciting words to say and moving our bodies during the event.

During this event I was able to learn more about the election. I was able to learn the first and foremost step, how to register. After that we went over the importance of voting how it could impact the community that we live in. Our one vote can change the outcome of the whole stance.

In this event I was able to meet most people in the Promise Scholarship and was able to see the type of people they were. We played games and talked about our lives before entering college. We learned each other's characteristics, their majors, why they chose it, and why they are so passionate about it. It was really nice getting to know new people and especially our Promise Scholarship team.
