Introducing youth to adulthood and teaching them about finances was very heartwarming. It felt good to give back to my community.

The event was very informative on how we as students navigate life and how to utilize both our passions as well as our "genius" to choose a fulfilling career. I enjoyed the instructor's energy and methods to interact with the group.

With SGA we set up the promotion for voter registration event in Bladen Student Center. At 11:00 AM members of SGA and I went out and promoted the events with flyers around campus. After 12:00PM we set up in the student center multiple booths and worked with technicians to present a PowerPoint.Once the event commenced at two o'clock I informed students about the events coming up, the importance of voting, and resources around campus that would assist them.
This event built my skills in interacting with other students and informed me on ways to contribute to the community.

On September 11th,2022 from 11:00 AM- 2:00 PM several members of Reflections Literary Magazine and I volunteered at Creative Suitland Arts Center. I assisted supervisors in helping vendors set up their booths, running errands, and monitoring children while utilizing different inflatables.

This event allowed me to see the importance of community and buying from local businesses. Seeing how my little contribution positively impacted the event gave me satisfaction and understanding.

At this event I engaged with other students in games and met some new people. I learned about trio and other important upcoming events. I had fun and look forward to attending other events this year!
