I attended the End Of Year Semester Meeting and it was very remindful. I like the idea of having a meeting in the end because it’s like an encouragement that we ended the year. We played a kahoot as a mini summery of the presentations in the meeting. It’s pretty common to confuse the coordinators as the advisors which is something we went over about. As well the abuse of the book scholarship and to only use fit for the things we need. We do not need to reapply for scholarships every year but what you do need to do is do your FAFSA every year.

This was my third basketball game I’ve ever been to and it was then the men of pgcc on the floor again. We saw the same players as before but not all were on the floor playing and not all of them played. It was very intense because we could see the way the men’s quick and fast reactions were to everything and would see them in distress every time they lost a shot. Pgcc lost. By only one point they lost and they were in left with disappointment.

i attended the men’s basketball game right after the women’s basketball game that started two hours ago and i was really hyped up from the women’s game which was such a good game and pgcc girls won, and the men’s game was really really tense and we lost. The men’s lost. For my second game also in a day, it was not tense but we lost.

i attended the game and it was my first time being and watching a basketball game. I watched it with my family and it was very fun. We were having fun cheering on in the sidelines and we liked a few players performance on the floor. The cheer leaders were perform during half time too. And we need the game with pgcc winning the women’s game this day. Right after the game. Then men’s game will be performing next.

I attended the teeth night play at 7pm to 9pm at then Center Of Performing Arts, Friday November 8, 2024. At the play, some of my friends were performing on stage and were wonderful. They had fun comedy and I’d never thought I’d see roses being thrown at the stage to the actors. Once the play was over the crowd threw the roses while the actors started to bow and then they all started dancing.

I attended the Nourish to Flourish: Empowering Communities Through Food Access on Friday November 8, 2024 from 12pm to 1:30pm at Culinary Arts Center Building. There was a special guests cooking, showing us how to cook and teaching us how to use the cooking tools and to apply special trips, tip and new techniques. While they were making cuisine while showing us how to do it, they gave us a sample. The aroma in the air was so irresistible. Soon after, we toured the build and they gave us a bag of groceries along with the recipes to what they had created.

I attended the Scholarship Session #2 Post-Election Conversation on Civic Engagement on Thursday November 7, 2024 from 4:30 to 6pm with a special guest, Ashanti Martinez. We had just learned about whats happening in the world because of how thw USA Presidental elections turned out that left a lot of people devastated that Mr. Ashanti Martinez came to give his take on it and to hear from the students voice. One thing that caught my attention is that he is the first black Delegate for District 22 and that he is also 28 years old and is the youngest in the delegates and of color too. I saw some of my friends in this bad mental state ask questions up front in the mic and witnessing this, it really is a serious matter.

I attended the SGA Town Hall Meeting and Q&A with the President on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at the Laurel College Center. I am now a running candidate for the SGA Vice President Role. I attempted a speech but my nervousness got the best of me. After my small presentation along the other three student candidates, Dr. Falecia D. Williams, College President answered a few of the questions that students had. Like why don’t we have the Cafeteria Open, why don't we have better food trucks and if we could have more study rooms available to us. As well as the school campus project 2025 where our Marlboro Hall will be having their grand opening and other construction projects that will take place.

I attended the Town Hall Meeting and Q&A with the VPSA in the CPA Building from 3pm to 5pm. It was supposed to be at the Duke Student Center but due to some unfortunate circumstances it was held in CPA. In this event, I was motivated to run for a high position for the SGA Organization. This is where I met other people running for the position I had it mind. Here, i was Abe to meet the students of the newly formed Debate club. In which I took a very interest in. Here at this meeting, the tutoring center was presenting their services whereas I could get an opportunity to become a tutor as well.

I attended this meeting and from 2pm to 3:30 pm and we were first introduced with a question, what is your superpower. I didn't know what i would say but i think the meaning behind it was to find what we are capable of and just finding ourselves overall. I like the idea because i feel like this is something we need, to find ourselves in very positive and interactive ways. There were also announcements given and more opportunities that would undergo in the next upcoming spring semester.
