Throughout this 10-week internship, I've learned some useful tips and tools to help me progress as a student. Not only did we receive the opportunity to connect through HBCU First's partnerships, such as Ferrara Candy, Nordstrom, and Tiffany & Co., to name a few, but we also picked up on how to properly build a resume, cover letter, and fully utilize our LinkedIn profiles (et cetera) to benefit us as first-generation college students navigating our college-to-career journey. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
