Today was good, I can see the program growing at a very fast rate. The children were delightful to work with. They don't really get a lot of homework, so we make them review what they've learned as well as work with them on areas they need help with.

I enjoyed the time I spent with the volunteers, and the children. They were so well behaved, and it looked like the program offered them an escape from the stress of school. I noticed how smart these kids are, so it was easier to talk to them and explain things to them. I wouldn't want to make them feel dumb by talking to them in a condescending way.
