I really enjoyed the teamwork of the group as we helped each other support the racers.

Great experience. Ash was very nice to work with. She gave us easy to follow instructions and checked up on us frequently.

It was a very rewarding experience helping the cyclists pass safely at a busy intersection. I received a lot of thank you’s from the cyclists during the race. It was challenging and a little stressful to manage the intersection alone. I need another helper. Luckily some spectators gave me some help. The training was very minimal so I had to wing it. Additional training on what to do in different situations would have been helpful. I would definitely like to volunteer again sometime when I’m not racing. I like giving back and feeling a part of the Leadville “family”!
