I attended this event virtually and was really surprised. I am very excited to have met Ms. Rose, and hear her wonderful voice. I loved hearing about all the women that are paving the way, making it easier for other women. I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Ms. Rose Mother, I hope she rests in peace.

I was not expecting to get a reality check during this event, but I am glad I did. It made me realized that my mental health may not have been as healthy as I thought. I used to be one of those people who thought that therapy was too much but now I can see how therapy can help. To paraphrase the host, you go to a professional to heal broken bones, why not the same for your mental health.
Before attending this event I had not idea that Irish Heritage Month even existed, I just thought that March was only Women's History Month. I am glad to have attended and heard some Irish songs, in the future I plan on looking more into this part of history.
I have been feeling a little anxious about re doing my resume especially since I have been job searching in a while so I am not sure what I should add and what not to add but I am thankful I was able to attend this event since it helped solve most of my problems. For example I was not aware how dangerous it was to add my full address to my resume from now on I will be sticking just my city and state. I can't wait to attend this kind of event again, I here there might be one for cover letters in the fall, so we shall see.
I attend the SGA town hall meetings to get news on what is going on at PGCC. In this meeting I was able to learn more about senatorial scholarships and delegate scholarships. I was also informed about certain bills such as SB320 and how it could affect the tuitions students pay to go to school. I really enjoyed my time at the town hall meeting, I will make sure to keep in touch with the new from now on.
For this semester I will be taking majority of my courses online, and I felt like I needed to attend an event like this to brush up on what to do and how to do it. This semester is suppose to be my last or at least my 2nd to last so I wanted to take everything much more seriously. During this event I learned about time management and some other things I was already, such as the tutoring services and the help desk for canvas. Overall I am glad to have attended, it allowed me to see I am not the only one facing this issue and that there are always people here to help me.
I attended this event mostly because I wanted to be more conscious about what I am eating and how I can add more plant based food to my diet. I do agree with the host that your mental health is affected by the way we eat. During this meeting I learn about veganism and how you can easily transition if your diet already consist of 75% plant based meals. If I were to attend something like this again I would love to learn how ethical veganism really is, because I have heard that there are a lot of reasons why people go vegan and I have been thinking about changing my diet as well.
I attended this event and completed the review before but for some reason it got disputed. So I came back to make some edits during this event I was able to learn about resources I could use, who my representative are. and why it is so important to vote, especially in local elections. I did not realize the importance of locally voting until I attended this event, before I thought it was just the "big" elections that matter such as voting for president or senator. In the future I definitely look forward to voting more locally.
I attended this event mostly for help understanding my calculus homework. And I am really glad I did. I feel like I am understanding more and more of the math as I attend tutoring and I like how they don't just tell me the answer even though they work me through the process, this way I can do some of the work myself and see what errors I might have been making.
I saw a lot of schools I have been meaning to talk with for a while, especially UMGC. I was able to get information about the schools and what would be the best option for me. Right now, I am comparing UMD and UMGC, because of this event I found out that if I attended UMGC there is a transfer scholarship that take $8,000 out of the tuition.
