Sadly today was my last day at the boys and girls club. I am going to miss the energy from the kids so much.

Another great day at the Boys and Girls club!

Today at the club the students who made clay animals and painted them participated in a pizza party and watched a movie. The other students learned about sugar and caffeine from some of the nursing students at Georgia Highlands College. The kids also had PJ day at school so they were all dressed up!

Today I spent two more hours with the kids at the Boys and Girls Club. Everyone there is so welcoming and the kids always want to do something. The kids asked me if I wanted to play 4v4 basketball with them. I did and it was fun. Great experience today!

I worked with the Boys and Girls Club last year and it was so fun I chose to go back for my field experience hours. Today was one of my first days back! I was able to help the elementary kids with math homework that was focused on multiplication. Then we played some competitive foosball.

Today was Friday and the kids were very rambunctious. We played basketball and some soccer then legos building a house. So much fun very happy I chose my field expierince to be here.

Today Thursday April 18th I spent two hours with the kids again. When they get there we start with homework I timed some of the students on reading and accuracy! I also helped with addition and subtraction for some of them with using my hands as a visual technique.

On Tuesday April 16th I spent two hours helping the students with homework and then we got to play some games together and color!

Absolutely loved the experience. It was great to help out with the after school program to help kids with homework and play games.
