Helped remove weeds and got a chance to take some fresh veggies home

Details on where exactly to meet weren't provided and volunteer manager was difficult to get ahold of. Volunteering experience was fine though.

Got to weeding. Helped protect some plants and the ground looked a whole lot better

Worked on picking out and separating bad and good product at the Food Forest, including bell peppers, green beans, lunchbox peppers, and more. Afterwards, we worked on removing weeds from the area. It was rough when the sun came out near the end of the volunteering event but it was great to learn about how to tell between product and weeds and between good and bad product.

Had fun coming out and cutting vines. Dajawn has so many interesting facts and so much knowledge about the environment, I feel like I could talk to him about the food forest and its adjacent actual forest for hours.
