Appointed by the Governor of Illinois to two 3-year terms. Served as chair 2020-2021. Responsible for the regulation of Illinois CPAs as to qualifications to be an Illinois CPA

ABA's Juvenile Justice Committee - (Leadership)

August 2009 to July 2013

This Committee is within the Criminal Law Section of the American Bar Association. It is responsible for formulating policy for the ABA on Juvenile Justice Issues. It also files ABA Amicus Briefs with the United States Supreme Court on criminal cases involving juveniles.

Illinois CPA Society - (Leadership)

June 2002 to May 2008

The Illinois CPA Society is the professional organization that represents Illinois CPAs. It is responsible for legislation and governance of the CPA profession in Illinois. I served as Chair 2006-2007, and was a member of the Board 2002-2008.
