Mariah Caudle

I enjoyed helping out whenever I could. The weather was great and there was a lot for people to do. The kids seemed like they were enjoying the festival. I ate good shrimp and overall was happy with the atmosphere this event gave off. The T-shirts were cool too.

I didn't really do much since most of the work was already done in the first shift. I did what I could with what was left.

The orientation was very insightful. After general introductions, our group was told about the history of the Purple Pantry, and we were given a little information on how it functioned. Overall, it was a nice, quick sneak peek on what it be like to volunteer at the Purple Pantry.
