We definitely made an impact today at Reed Park! The leader of the event, James Page, was awesome. He was there early with lots of tools and gear for us to use and was kind enough to bring us some breakfast and beverages. He and his team were very knowledgeable about the native plants and showed us which invasive species we would be clearing out. His instructions were clear and with all of us working in little teams, we piled up a ton of brush and weeds that were taking over everything. They even had chainsaws and weedwhackers! They were prepared! I'd definitely volunteer with James and his crew again.
