    Spartan Service Day 2026

Spartan Service Day gave me the opportunity to give back to the Greensboro community by volunteering with Peacehaven Farms. I had the chance to learn about the organization while crafting dryer balls and reflecting on my experience.

Kennedi @ New Student Transition and First Year Experience

Volunteering at NAV1GATE was a rewarding experience where I welcomed incoming first-year students by handing out fans, answering questions, and directing them across campus. I helped create a welcoming, supportive atmosphere for everyone starting their college journey.

    Science Everywhere 2026!!

I volunteered with the School of Nursing at Science Everywhere, where I connected with senior nursing students to learn about the program, expectations, and preparation strategies. I also engaged with children by demonstrating medical tools such as a blood pressure cuff, stethoscope, and pulse oximeter. Through these interactions, I learned about the interests of both younger students and admitted Spartans in the medical field and offered guidance and encouragement.

    Volunteer Food Pantry Distributors

This volunteer experience taught me the importance of giving back to my community. I know that everyone is not privileged enough to afford food, especially those still settling in here. It was inspiring to see the food that was being brought to these immigrant families.
