This was an informative meeting about the A.A.S. Radiography program offered at PGCC. They presented what a normal semester would look like and what radiographers do. We went over the basic qualifications for the program and set aside time for questions. I got my questions answered.

We talked about the importance of something getting our attention. We talked about social situations, and Mr. Hamlin said, "Everyone has access to you, but should they," which made me reflect on the times when I have given people my time, even though I didn't have much for myself. Overall, the workshop was very helpful, especially when receiving advice from my peers.
I got to learn the basics of hand sewing. I was quite familiar with what was taught since I crochet myself. I learned how to sew a button, do a hem stitch, and sew a different kind of button. The techniques we learned to sew were the cross method to secure the button and learned how to make the hem invisible. The workshop was fun and informative. However, it would've been better if we didn't have computers in front of us because I couldn't really see, and I would've liked music to make it a good environment. It would've been useful if we saw the instructor do the example on the board, sharing what she was specifically doing. Overall, this was a great workshop!
I got selected to participate in the SEAL Takes Flight event. We went to the oldest airport in the world, located in College Park. There was a lot of information about planes, how they started, their history, and the people who made it possible. At the end of our trip, we got to experience one of the planes landing.
There was food being offered, and people participated in karaoke. Everyone was having a good time and got to experience a majority of the genres being played.
I learned how to manage the givepulse website. I got tips and tricks and got to ask a question.
I attended THE CHOICE IS YOURS: Go Big or Go Home! I was one of the winners. I loved how engaging everyone was, and I had a great laugh!
An overview of the scholarship program. We talked about the requirements to be in good standing in the program and additional information.
