The most satisfying thing about removing honeysuckle is being able to see it disappear on the burn pile! It is also very satisfying to see how much open space that our group created in just one morning.

Sagawau Environmental Learning Center is a hidden gem! I first learned of its existence when I went to pick up my volunteer hat last spring. Even though I've ridden the Cal-Sag Trail at Sag Quarries numerous times, I didn't know this center was just around the corner.

I enjoyed my time this morning helping to remove honeysuckle and other invasive species. After we were done, I took out my camera and snapped pictures of the hummingbirds and other flying things. It was a perfect day to be outside!
