Program Summary: Farm to Early Care and Education (ECE) is a nutrition education program that aims to give children ages six months to five years the opportunity to learn about healthy, locally grown fruits and vegetables through:

  • Nutrition lessons
Description of Work: The Child Health Promotion (CHP) Program at Boulder County Public Health (BCPH) is seeking a volunteer to help deliver boxes of produce from local farms to child care program centers throughout Boulder County. The position generally requires 5 hours per week on Tuesday mornings for approximately 20 weeks from late May to mid-October. 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Drive to local farms to pick up fresh produce. 
  • Load boxes/bags of fresh produce and deliver them to local child care program centers in Longmont.
