This day of service honors Dr. King's legacy through action, bringing together volunteers, community partners, and local media to support neighbors facing hunger.

The MLK Day of Service calls on Americans to transform Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s life and teachings into community service that helps solve social problems. At El Pasoans Fighting Hunger, that means working together to ensure no family in our region goes without food.

More than one-third of El Pasoans are food insecure. This day of action, powered by volunteers and community partners like FirstLight Federal Credit Union, is a powerful way to carry forward Dr. King’s call to serve others with dignity, compassion, and justice.
