During this service activity, we packaged books and teddy bears for children battling cancer. We also wrote encouraging cards to remind them to stay strong, keep fighting, and never give up hope. Our goal was to bring comfort, happiness, and encouragement to children facing difficult challenges.

For this service, we got to engage with 8th-grade middle schoolers and take the time to get to know them. We also participated in an interactive activity called “The Floor,” which was a great bonding activity that allowed the mentors and mentees to interact, connect, and become more comfortable with one another.
During this mentorship, we spent time with children from Partnership Village. We started with an engaging icebreaker to help everyone get comfortable and get to know one another. We then completed an escape room activity together, which encouraged teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. Afterward, we went outside and played with the children, creating a fun and positive environment for everyone.
For this service opportunity, I was able to guide younger children and help them prepare for the upcoming school year. I encouraged them to make positive choices and gave them guidance on ways they can work toward success. We also participated in a fun backpack coloring activity, which allowed me to connect with the children and create a positive environment for them.
For this service, I volunteered at Carowinds and spent the day working in their pizza shop, where I helped staff with food preparation, took part in serving customers, and contributed to keeping the area clean and organized.
