About

The Empathy Museum is looking for volunteers for our shoe shop, A Mile in My Shoes

Volunteers can sign up for three hour shifts where they will welcome visitors to the FREE museum to walk in someone else's shoes. No experience is required!

The exhibition will be open seven days a week from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm in Tail Tracks Plaza (on 16th Street between Wewatta and Wynkoop) August 9 through September 27.

This traveling, one-of-a-kind, FREE participatory exhibition allows participants to literally walk in someone else's shoes while listening to a story about that person's life. From a Syrian refugee sex worker, to a war veteran and neurosurgeon, the stories housed in this shoebox invite participants on a profound journey of empathy that explores our shared humanity and creates deep, lasting mental impressions that last well after the physical mile is traversed.

Visit here to choose your shifts! Also feel free to contact Kate Anella with questions or concerns.
