                        YMCA of Northern Colorado Volunteer Service Opportunity

The Arapahoe YMCA in Lafayette is looking for volunteer groups to assist in setting up the unique Air Dome over the year-round swimming complex the week of November 11, 2019. This project is a critical part of maintaining swimming opportunities for the public over the winter. The Y provides swim lessons and free water safety programming to hundreds of kids each year, and thousands of individuals swim throughout the winter — exercising, learning water safety skills and developing swimming skills in a safe, covered environment until spring, when the dome comes down.

This project is a great opportunity for large, small or individual volunteer service to support the Y, one of the largest nonprofits in the nation.

Project: The Raising of the Dome

Where:  YMCA of Northern Colorado, 2800 Dagny Way, Lafayette, CO 80026

Who:     Service groups, Fraternities, Sororities, Volunteer groups/organizations, Business team building experiences and individuals who are willing to assist in this special project.

Dates:   November 11- 15, 2019.

Time:    8:00 am-4:00 pm, Monday- Friday.  (Groups and individuals can participate each day or any part of days throughout the week).
