Back to School Bash- Distribution

Friday, July 24th from 1:30pm to Saturday, July 25th, 2020 12:30pm

About

*Please note that due to COVID-19, shifts are subject to change. We will send any cancellation 48 hours in advance if necessary.*

The average back to school supply list can cost over $100 which isn't feasible for many families in metro Denver. That's why
Mile High United Way is teaming up with the Denver Broncos to make sure young people have the supplies they need to start the school year off strong. Join us! You can run a school supply drive with your friends/coworkers or volunteer your time virtually and in-person to make sure the event is a success!

The Back to School Bash distribution provides school age children with their school supply list and parents and teachers with additional supplies or resources. Please note that this is an in-person volunteer opportunity. Safety precautions and best practices will be enforced to protect against COVID-19. Registered families will arrive at the locations in their car, volunteers will check them in, and direct them to pick up the supplies. Volunteers will be placing the school supplies in the familys' car. This event will be socially distanced.

All of the supplies are provided by generous individuals and companies in Metro Denver. Can't volunteer for the event? Be a part of this year's Back to School Bash by donating supplies! For questions or concerns regarding registration or drives, please contact volunteer@unitedwaydenver.org

Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:

  1. Have you or someone in your household traveled to a country on the CDC’s Level 3 watch list in the last 30 days? At this time, these include China, Iran, Italy and South Korea. These may change. See the CDC’s guidelines for the most up-to-date list.
