Davis Spring Disc Golf Course Mulching & Clean Up

Come join Waterloo Disc Golf Club at the first ever IMPD event at this brand new park and disc golf course! We will spreading mulch on the disc golf course at Davis Spring, putting it around the baskets, tee boxes, and other high traffic areas to reduce soil compaction and erosion, and to encourage the growth of the grass that will help keep this course beautiful.  We will also do some trash pick-up and maybe clear some bamboo.  Tools, work gloves, snacks, and drinks provided.  Please bring a water bottle, and if you can bring a pair of loppers, an extra pitchfork, or rock rake (the heavy duty kind of rake, not lightweight leaf/grass rake), please do so.

 Plenty of drinks and snacks provided by the club, plus Austin Parks Foundation usually has some nice goodies for the volunteers.

Please do NOT park at the lot across the street by the pool/playground.  Instead park up at the corner of Neenah Ave. and Parmer Ln. in the strip mall parking lot, behind the Baskin Robbins / Bicycle Sports Shop.  From there it is just a short walk down Neenah Ave to the disc golf course.
