About
Partner with Colorado Youth for a Change and the Colorado Reading Corps program by adopting a school for the year. Together, we'll identify a school across Metro Denver and volunteers will stock the Reading Corps station with prizes, incentives, and supplies for kindergarten through 3rd grade students who are not reading on grade level and receiving extra support. Individuals or groups who adopt a school could also plan celebration parties, virtual literacy nights, record reading for kids, donate books, and respond to different needs of each individual school. In return, you'll receive stories and impact updates about the students in the program.

Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:
- Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.
- Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.
