About

The Atlanta Urban Debate League (AUDL) hosts several elementary, middle, and high school debate tournaments throughout the year. Most volunteers with the AUDL serve as judges for debates during tournaments.

After registering here to be a volunteer in the AUDL, you will receive further information about completing the process. You will be asked to do the following:

  • Take and pass an online training course about working with minors.
  • Sign an agreement that you understand the expectations and risks of volunteering in the AUDL, and a covenant not to take legal action.
  • Attend a judge training session prior to the start of the first debate round
This tournament will be 100% virtual using the debate tournament platform, Yaatly. More information will be sent you on accessing the tournament after you have registered.
