Description
Please join Mortenson employees and Mile High United Way Staff to fill a Power Lunch classroom at Columbine Elementary School! Volunteers commit to reading weekly or bi-weekly with one student for the 2016-17 school year.

Power Lunch volunteers help Denver Public Schools' 2nd and 3rd grade students develop a love for reading. The program focuses on increasing students' attitude toward reading as well as offering early career exposure through shared experiences. Volunteers are paired with one student for the full school year and take part in one-on-one reading sessions.
Join as an individual or with coworkers to adopt a classroom and read to students.

Power Lunch is a collaboration between Mile High United Way, Denver Public Schools (DPS), DPS Foundation, and DPS Office of Family & Community Engagement. We partner together to provide an exceptional volunteer and student experience!
