Homecoming Food Drive

Volunteers will help set up, sort, and/or organize materials that are donated to the Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC. Volunteers will check in at the tent and acknowledge COVID-19 protocols set forth by the Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC. Please wear closed toed shoes and clothing that will keep you warm/dry for the temperature/climate that day.

This is an open volunteer opportunity. For this event, volunteers do not have to attend a Purple Pantry Orientation.

Please note, transportation will NOT be provided. Address for site is 1712 Union Street, Greenville NC 27834. The Food Bank is 15-20 minutes away from ECU's campus.

Note from Food Bank:

Upon entering The Food Bank of CENC, please be advised that a temperature is mandatory for every volunteer and personnel. MASK ARE REQUIRED TO BE WORN AT ALL TIMES COVERING NOSE & MOUTH.

Following a temperature check, you will be asked to read and sign a COVID-19 Questionnaire.

Closed toes shoes are required to participate in volunteer session.

Once in building, it is vital to maintain 6 feet of distance from all other volunteers and staff members at all times.

“Masks Breaks” are permitted, please inform staff member when taking a mask break. You will be prompted to exit the side door and can return inside once satisfied.
