About

Our Weekday Operations involve volunteers packing food boxes, stocking shelves, organizing donations, and helping maintain the quality control of our distributed goods. Volunteers can join us at any time throughout the day, creating a schedule that fits into their lifestyle. All you need to do is message us when you are interested in volunteering! These weekday operations allow the Mr. Charity food pantry to distribute goods to 5 different community partners twice a month.

Please note: We are currently only accepting vaccinated volunteers in our warehouse. We appreciate your understanding.

For your safety and the safety of others, please know that operations take place in a warehouse setting.
Closed-toe shoes are required, and there is a possibility of heavy lifting.
Please hydrate and eat something before you join us; we also have refreshments on site.

Our volunteer coordinator will send our address to you after you complete a simple New Volunteer registration process.

Requirement Details

Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:

Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.
Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.

If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, we ask you not to register. We are doing all we can to align with best practices and keep our community healthy.
