About
Join the Pirates Give team for a Mystery Service Saturday and one of our most popular programs! We will travel to a mystery location to volunteer, meet new people, and explore the needs and culture of our region.
CLCE will provide transportation to the mystery location, and provide snacks and lunch. The vans will depart the bus loop at 8:00 AM sharp, please try to arrive at the bus loop by 7:50 AM. We will arrive back to campus no later than 2:00 PM.
Participants will need to wear closed toed shoes, jeans/pants, and a t-shirt, and depending on weather a jacket/coat. Please wear clothes you do not mind getting stained and/or dirty. Participants should also bring a refillable water bottle and a positive attitude! CLCE will provide any required masks/gloves or materials to complete the service project.
All volunteers must have a COVID-19 clearance 72 hours prior to going on the Mystery Service Saturday. A COVID-19 clearance means that one of the following applies: an individual is vaccinated; has a recent negative COVID test; or has recovered from COVID in the past 90 days.
Students can show proof of compliance by sharing the documentation in their myPIRATEchart portal, submitting documentation from their healthcare provider, or by showing the purple compliance medallion that says "Cleared to Access Campus." Volunteers will be asked to show proof of one of the above, before boarding the van.
