Packing Disaster Kits for American Red Cross

Friday, September 30th, 2022 from 9:30am to 12:30pm (ET)

About

Volunteers will be assisting Red Cross with putting fire safety packets together for their disaster relief program. The packets consist of information relating to:

*developing an exit plan if they have a home fire

  *designating a meeting point

*information on hurricanes, flooding, tornados and thunderstorms

  *a magnet with phone numbers

*a map magnet to draw the home exit plan

This is a great, easy way to volunteer with Red Cross to make homes safer! All other materials will be provided but we do ask that you bring your enthusiasm! Volunteers will be responsible for providing their own transportation to the service site. Volunteers can meet at Red Cross (700 A Cromwell Drive, Greenville, NC.)

If you have questions about this volunteer experience, please feel free to contact Kashayia Coltrane (coltranek19@students.ecu.edu)
