About
Explore while you restore during the trash purge of the Williamson Creek West Greenbelt! Join us to reduce the trash and litter in this urban-wild space.
As always, keep an eye on the weather and dress appropriately. Closed-toe shoes, preferably boots, are your best bet. Long pants and long-sleeved shirts may be preferred and you might also consider a hat. Be sure to BRING A WATER BOTTLE, sun-screen, and possibly some bug spray.
We will be meeting at the bridge on Brush Country between White Elm Drive and William Cannon at 9am. Morning snacks and water will be available. If you don't already live nearby, free street parking is available. Gloves and "grabbers" will be provided. You will be joining thousands of other well-intentioned volunteers to help clean up Austin's treasured green spaces! Volunteers get the satisfaction of giving back and of course, an AWESOME It's My Park Day t-shirt designed by local artists!
Project registration will be very limited so please only register if you are certain you can participate. If something changes between your registration and the event, please let us know so we can open the spot back up. Thank you so much for joining us on It's My Park Day!
