RHA University Apartment Council: Aggie Affirmation Post Card Party

The Aggie Affirmation PostCard Party was a service event centered around positivity and light. Students gathered together to write intricate, heartfelt, encouraging messages on  small cards and distributed them out to people in the student center. We wanted to spread love, light, and motivation to students as the semester comes to a close and before Homecoming festivities began. It had a very positive influence on several students; who had remarks such as "It's crazy because I really needed this." and "Wow this is so cute!" Students took pictures of their affirmations and posted them to Instagram and use the 'Add yours' feature that we created. Student who volunteered to write cards received 1 service hour per 4 cards and 2 hours per 8 cards.
