Slaughter Creek Cleanup @ Circle C Ranch Metropolitan Park

Join Keep Austin Beautiful at Circle C Ranch Metropolitan Park to clean up litter from in and around Slaughter Creek and learn more about how you can protect your local creek at 11am on Thursday, January 19th!

We will provide cleanup supplies and rubber boots on site as well as sunscreen and bug spray. We will meet in the park near the first parking lot on the right of Donald E Carpenter Way (near the basketball court) before heading to the creekside - look for the Keep Austin Beautiful event table and signage!

Please remember to wear close-toed shoes and durable clothing as the terrain may be rough in some areas. Conditions may be wet as we will be working along and within the creek; please dress appropriately! Long pants and a hat are also recommended. Be sure to bring a full water bottle and stay hydrated. When arriving at the park, please remember to hide any valuables and lock your car before checking in. Parking is available in the lots within the park. Carpooling is highly encouraged!
