About
Are you handy with a hammer? Skilled with a sewing machine? Educated about electronics? Fix-It Austin needs your help! Sign up here to volunteer for the next Fix-It Clinic! It will be on May 20, 2023, at the Pleasant Hill Branch of the Austin Public Library. Coaches will guide attendees in fixing their broken items. Our emphasis is on education, so please teach attendees how to repair and not simply do it for them. We will provide tools and equipment for common repairs that you may use. You may also bring your own, if you prefer! We are so grateful to all our volunteers. We couldn't put these on without you! Here's the link to Eventbrite for attendee registration. I did a couple of sessions at ReCycled Reads before Covid. I am a seamstress.
