Thursday - Fall 2023 Afternoon Programs

Twelve weeks of life-changing volunteering! Join our after-school program every Thursday from 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm starting September 14th (Training is Tuesday, September 5th) Our afterschool program gives our participants the chance to become star athletes and take on lead roles in plays through classes like team sports, theatre, art, cooking, dance, movie making, and much more. This afternoon programming provides purposeful recreation for our participants to learn new skills, gain confidence, strengthen their abilities, and make lasting friendships. As an afternoon program volunteer, your responsibility would involve being a best friend ("buddy") to one of our participants with a developmental disability. 

Age Limit: Volunteers should be age 15 or older, unless with prior approval. If you are under 15, and would like to be approved for 360, e-mail gracie@espyouandme.org!

Important note: To accept this position, you MUST commit to all available weeks of this program. You will see these dates after clicking the register button, and then you should click next to all Monday dates shown. This allows us to partner you with a participant, then allows that participant to count on you to be their "buddy" every week!
