Walnut Creek Cleanup @ Garden View Trailhead

Join Keep Austin Beautiful at the Garden View Dr. Trailhead to clean up litter from in and around Walnut Creek, and learn more about how you can protect your local creek at 9 AM on Friday, August 25!

We will provide cleanup supplies on site, as well as sunscreen and bug spray. We will meet along the Walnut Creek Trail, just a few hundred feet from the entrance on Garden View Dr. before heading to the creekside — look for the Keep Austin Beautiful event table and signage!

Please remember to wear close-toed shoes and durable clothing as the terrain may be rough in some areas. Conditions may be wet as we will be working along the creek; please dress appropriately!  Long pants and a hat are also recommended. Be sure to bring a water bottle and stay hydrated. For volunteers with limited mobility, it is recommended to stay along main trails and pathways. Areas closer to the creek side may present an additional challenge.

When arriving at the park, please remember to hide any valuables and lock your car before checking in. Parking is available streetside on Garden View Dr. Carpooling is highly encouraged!
