Williamson Creek Cleanup @ Heartwood Park

Join Keep Austin Beautiful at Heartwood Park to clean up litter from in and around Williamson Creek and learn more about how you can protect your local creek at 10am on Tuesday, December 5th!

We will provide cleanup supplies on site as well as sunscreen and bug spray. We will meet in the center of the park before heading to the creekside - look for the Keep Austin Beautiful event table and signage! This event will be a waste audit event - we will be using Litterati to conduct a comprehensive survey of the trash we collect. More information on how to download and use Litterati will be shared on the day of the cleanup!

Please remember to wear close-toed shoes and durable clothing as the terrain may be rough in some areas. Conditions may be wet as we will be working along the creek; please dress appropriately!  Long pants and a hat are also recommended. Be sure to bring a full water bottle and stay hydrated. When arriving at the park, please remember to hide any valuables and lock your car before checking in. Parking is available on the streetside near the park. Carpooling is highly encouraged!
