Central Williamson Creek Advocates Creek Adopters Ready, Set, Plant Native Tree Planting

Friday, January 5th, 2024

9am - 1pm

1206 Radam Circle

TreeFolks is planning a tree-planting event at Williamson creek through the Ready, Set, Plant program, in partnership with Keep Austin Beautiful and the COA Watershed Protection Department.

All the trees we plant will be native to the Austin area, about 20-30 different species to increase the biodiversity of the creekside forest.

No experience or supplies are necessary to attend, we will train you in proper tree planting and provide all the necessary tools, gloves and other materials.

Please join us.

In addition to signing up on the GivePulse website each volunteer will need to register for the event individually using this form. https://treefolks.dm.networkforgood.com/forms/volunteer-signup-rsp-6-radam-circle-1-5-24

The QR code on the flyer also links to this form. Once you submit the form you will receive a confirmation email with all the event details. Children are welcome to attend, and they do not need to register, but must be supervised by an adult at all times. TreeFolks will provide all the trees and supplies needed for the event, as well as water, coffee, and snacks. They will train volunteers how to plant the trees and there is no experience necessary.
