About
Please join Austin Parks Foundation for a morning of giving back along the Barton Creek Greenbelt! We will be improving the health of Barton Creek, the aquifer, and the greenbelt ecosystem supporting ecological restoration efforts in the area through re-seeding native plants and inoculating invasive species that have been removed with native, hyperlocal fungi!
What to bring: Please bring lots of water, wear comfortable outdoor gear and closed toed shoes. There is poison ivy in this area so ankle/shin protection is recommended - long clothing recommended including any personal supplies such as gloves. APF will bring all other supplies and materials.
Where to Meet and Parking: We will meet at 9:30AM at the Zilker Park Trailhead entrance to the Barton Creek Greenbelt at this location marked here. Please note that parking in the Barton Springs Pool lot will be closed / limited during this time. The best way to arrive is to park at the lots on Andrew Zilker Rd. For a visual aid, please consult this map.
Thank you so much for giving back to our parks and green spaces!
All children under 17 must be supervised by a parent or guardian to volunteer.
