March 22 is World Water Day. Come celebrate with us by showing Williamson Creek some love on Saturday, March 23rd.

In fitting with our mission we will give back to the environment by removing trash from part of Williamson Creek at Heartwood Drive.

The Williamson Creek Cleanup at Heartwood Drive is an event aimed at removing garbage and debris from the creek and its surroundings. This initiative is an effort to improve the health of the creek and the wildlife that depends on it. The cleanup is open to volunteers of all ages who are willing to help out. It is a great opportunity to make a positive impact on the environment and to get involved in the local community. 

We will have trash bags and pickup tools available to borrow.  Bring water and a snack if you want.  There is Poison ivy in the area, so you may want to wear pants and bring your work gloves.  Please wear closed-toe shoes.  Join us at the 500 block of Heartwood Drive and meet at the intersection of Heartwood Drive and S. 1st Street.  Hope to see y’all there!
