Oak Springs Cleanup @ Willie Mae Kirk Library

Join Keep Austin Beautiful at Willie Mae Kirk Library to clean up litter from in and around Oak Springs and learn more about how you can protect your local creek at 11am on Wednesday, March 27th!

We will provide cleanup supplies and rubber boots on site as well as sunscreen and bug spray. We will meet in grassy area behind the library - look for the Keep Austin Beautiful event table and signage!

Please remember to wear close-toed shoes and durable clothing as the terrain may be rough in some areas. Conditions may be wet as we will be working along and within the creek; please dress appropriately! Long pants and a hat are also recommended. Be sure to bring a full water bottle and stay hydrated. For volunteers with limited mobility, it is recommended to stay along main trails and pathways. Areas closer to the creek side may present an additional challenge.

When arriving at the park, please remember to hide any valuables and lock your car before checking in. Parking is along the west side of Tillery St - please do not park in the library lot. Carpooling is highly encouraged!
