Cherry Creek Cleanup @ Silk Oak Neighborhood Park

Join Keep Austin Beautiful at Silk Oak Park to clean up litter from in and around Cherry Creek and learn more about how you can protect your local creek at 9:30am on Wednesday, June 26th!

We will provide cleanup supplies on site as well as sunscreen and bug spray. We will meet near the north end of the park on Silk Oak Dr  - look for the Keep Austin Beautiful event table and signage!

Please remember to wear close-toed shoes and durable clothing as the terrain may be rough in some areas. Conditions may be wet as we will be working along the creek; please dress appropriately!  Long pants and a hat are also recommended. Be sure to bring a water bottle and stay hydrated. For volunteers with limited mobility, it is recommended to stay along main trails and pathways. Areas closer to the creek side may present an additional challenge.

When arriving at the park, please remember to hide any valuables and lock your car before checking in. Parking is streetside along Silk Oak Dr. Carpooling is highly encouraged!
