About
Hello Friends of McKinney Falls Volunteers!
Thank you for beautifying your adopted street segment - McKinney Falls Pkwy from William Cannon to Smith School Rd. and joining us for Clean Streets Day! We appreciate the work you do! Supplies will be provided from Keep Austin Beautiful for your cleanup. If you have your own gloves you are welcome to bring them!
It is recommended to bring the following items - closed toe shoes, a FULL water bottle, snack, sunscreen and comfortable clothing. Please connect with your group on where to meet and park on the morning of!
When you finish collecting litter, please dispose of any disposable gloves properly by placing them into your trash bag. Make sure your trash bag is securely tied and that nothing is sticking out of the bags to protect sanitation workers. Please make sure your trash is separated into piles of trash, recycling, and bulk in the designated trash pickup location. As a reminder, always use hand sanitizer or wash your hands immediately after a cleanup.
A NOTE ON SAFETY: We encourage you to “See and Be Seen!” Be mindful of your fellow volunteers and maintain awareness of your surroundings at all times. Dial 911 in case of emergency.
