About
If you love trees and want to help our native trees at Red Bluff Nature Preserve in east Austin to be healthier, this is a great opportunity. We will be picking up trash (including old tires) and weeding non-native bushes and tree seedlings so our native trees can grow free without being crowded out.
This will involve some hand-pulling small plants and using wrench-levers to uproot some of the 2-4 foot tree seedlings too.
The site is open forest and fairly easy walking. This event is for adults over 18, and dogs are not permitted at any workdays.
Come help out, get a good work out!
