About

The Daffodil Project, a global initiative of Am Yisrael Chai!, aspires to build worldwide Living Holocaust Memorial gardens by planting daffodils in memory of Holocaust victims and survivors and in support for children who continue to suffer in the face of humanitarian crises in the world today. Originally started and hosted at KSU in the year 2020 by the Museum of History and Holocaust Education, this planting, with each flower, represents the souls of victims lost and lives rebuilt of survivors. For the year 2025, we will revitalize the space with a Spring Replanting!

KSU Hillel students, faculty, and community members, and volunteers would be assisting to plant rescued daffodil bulbs in front of the Visual Art Building with environmental and naturalization support from the  Office of Sustainability
