Join Georgia State alumni, faculty, staff, and students for a service project with Food Well Alliance and Parkview Community Garden.
Typical tasks include weeding, mulching, turning compost, garden beautification, invasive plant removal and planting/harvesting as needed. All tools and instruction will be provided.
Volunteers must also register with Food Well Alliance using a secondary link sent separately.
Volunteers must be 16 years or older. Minors must be accompanied by an adult 18 or older.
Each attendee will receive GSU promotional items, while supplies last. Snacks and water will be provided.
Minors must be with an adult. We ask that volunteers wear close-toed shoes (required) and clothes they don't mind getting dirty, and bring a filled water bottle, sunscreen and bug spray.
