Cruising Back to School hosted by WSCA

Cruising Back to School will be a back-to-school classical or low-rider car show. This eventful evening will feature low-rider or classical cars cruising in the Washington Street district, culminating near the D-UP, Inc. location. We hope to highlight and bring a sense of historic feel and presence back to our streets while having our youth enjoy the scene as a final summer celebration before returning to school the following week. This will be a community-engaging opportunity as members of our community come and donate their services as barbers and hair braiders to provide free haircuts and braiding services for students returning to school. The day will also feature music to feed the soul and a little food to fuel their energy! Registered participants will receive school supplies and, if available, basic toiletries to ensure they start the year equipped and confident.
