About

MLS All-Star Day of Service invites local fans and All-Star guests to roll up their sleeves and protect what makes the city special – its vibrant green spaces and iconic waterways. In partnership with The Trail Conservancy, TreeFolks, and Keep Austin Beautiful, volunteers will come together to clean and beautify the trails and shoreline of Lady Bird Lake, demonstrating the power of collective action to preserve Austin’s natural legacy and invest in a greener future.

What to expect:

Volunteers will come together to take part in activities such as:

  • Cleaning up litter along the water and shoreline of Lady Bird Lake, including the option to use kayaks, life vests, and other equipment.
  • Picking up trash and helping beautify nearby trails and green spaces.
  • Spreading mulch around trees to help protect and strengthen the soil.

Volunteers will be outdoors and may be walking, lifting light materials, or using tools like grabbers or pitchforks. The day will begin with a group stretch, followed by everyone splitting into teams for the stewardship projects.
