Onion Creek Cleanup @ Dog Park Blue

Join Keep Austin Beautiful at the Onion Creek Trailhead near Dog Park Blue to clean up litter from in and around Onion Creek, and learn more about how you can protect your local creek at 10 AM on Thursday, July 10th!

We will provide cleanup supplies on site, as well as sunscreen and bug spray. We will meet along the Walnut Creek Trail, near the pavilion along the entrance to the trail before heading to the creekside — look for the Keep Austin Beautiful event table and signage!

Please remember to wear close-toed shoes and durable clothing as the terrain may be rough in some areas. Conditions may be wet as we will be working along the creek; please dress appropriately!  Long pants and a hat are also recommended. Be sure to bring a water bottle and stay hydrated. For volunteers with limited mobility, it is recommended to stay along main trails and pathways. Areas closer to the creek side may present an additional challenge.

When arriving at the park, please remember to hide any valuables and lock your car before checking in. Parking is available within the lots on site. Carpooling is highly encouraged!
