About
Join the Volunteerism & Service-Learning Office (VSL) and UT Outpost for our first Forty Acres Service Series event of the year!
We’ll be supporting UT Outpost’s on-campus food pantry, which provides free, nutritious food and professional clothing to currently enrolled UT students. Volunteers will help run a live produce stand, assist with pantry operations, and learn more about food insecurity and student support resources at UT.
According to the Fall 2023 National College Health Assessment, nearly 44% of UT students have experienced some form of food insecurity. This event is a hands-on opportunity to support food equity on campus and ensure fellow Longhorns can focus on their education without worrying about basic needs.
Register soon — this opportunity has limited capacity.
